What To Do      

Poor suction conditionsIncrease pipe size of liquid and/or vapor lines. Clean inlet strainer.
Bypass valve set too low Set valve for higher pressure.
Worn blades / vanes or sideplates Disassemble, inspect and repair if necessary.
