Pump Will Not Build Pressure

Possible Causes

 

What To Do      

Poor suction conditions Increase pipe size. Clean inlet strainer.
External by-pass valve set too low Set valve for higher pressure.
Worn blades/vanes/sideplates/rotor Disassemble, inspect and repair if necessary.
Sticking blades / vanes Clean out foreign matter and replace as necessary.
