Coro-Vane®—Troubleshooting Guide

Pump Runs But No Flow

Possible Causes

 

What To Do      

Broken shaft or coupling Inspect and replace parts as necessary.

Valve closed in inlet or discharge line. Open the valve.

Clogged strainer Clean strainer.

Blade/Vane sticking Remove blades/vanes and clean out foreign matter. Check material compatibility or replace blades if swollen.

Excess flow valve slugged Stop pump until valve opens. If problem continues, slow pump down by changing sheaves or install new or larger excess flow valve.

Meter differential valve closing Inspect differential valve and vapor eliminator for damage. (Consult meter manufacturer for procedures)
